Earlier research attempts to understand the drivers of suicidal trends globally identified a few key risk factors. However, in recent years, general population surveys centered on suicidal thoughts has identified a complex interplay of factors actively driving the triggers, method, and outcomes of suicidal behaviors. Chapter 5: Understanding Obesity and Eating Disorders [4 CE Hours] 117 Eating disorders and obesity are issues that healthcare workers confront on a regular basis. This course provides current information about the disorders, triggers, and strategies to help clients recover from eating disorders and overcome obesity and achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle for their height and age.
