It is the responsibility of pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy technicians to maintain competency in understanding and applying these rules to their daily pharmacy practice. This continuing education course provides important background information on the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, its role in revising and adopting changes to the law, and important Texas state pharmacy law updates from early 2021 through the first half of 2023. When the Board adopts changes or updates to Texas pharmacy law, these changes are enacted in the following locations: Texas State Board of Pharmacy The Texas State Board of Pharmacy has 11 members and is responsible for the management and regulation of the pharmacy profession within the state of Texas.
