For example, women over age 50 should begin regular colonoscopy (col- orectal screenings); however, only 25% or adults ages 50–64 and 40% of adults age 65 and older are up to date on this screening (HP2030, 2022). Clinical preventive services can save money, and they can also help women
avoid being subject to unnecessary tests and procedures. Clinical preventive ser- vices are evidence-based services that are effective in reducing death, disability, and disease while at the same time add- ing years to the life of the woman and helping her live better during those years (HP2030, 2022).

Breast cancer screening for average- risk woman
Recommend that average-risk women initiate mammography screening no earlier than age 40 and no later than age 50. Screening should occur at least biennially and as frequently as annually. Screening should continue through at least age 74. Recommend screening for anxiety in adult women, including those who are pregnant and postpartum. Recommend cervical cancer screening for average-risk women ages 21–65. For women ages 30–65, cotesting with HPV every five years or cytology alone every three years. Recommend screening women for interpersonal and domestic violence at least annually and as needed, providing referrals when needed.
