Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co- sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. Texas accepts courses offered by APA-approved sponsors.
Are my hours reported to the Texas board? No, currently the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists requires licensees to certify at the time of renewal that he/she has complied with the continuing education requirement. Starting January 1, 2026, licensees will be required to use CE Broker for tracking and reporting continuing education. At that time, we will report your hours electronically to the Board through CE Broker within one business day. Is my information secure? Yes!
