MANDATORY CME REQUIRED FOR ALABAMA LICENSE RENEWAL

The InforMed Alabama Medical Licensure Program is designed to fulfill the mandatory CME requirement for physicians licensed by the state of Alabama. Completion of the program satisfies Alabama’s mandatory two (2) credit hour requirement on controlled substances prescribing, eight (8) credit hours of the DEA’s one-time MATE requirement, as well as five (5) elective credit hours of ethics education.
Alabama physicians are required 25 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM or equivalent of continuing medical education each calendar year, unless exempt. Completion of the enclosed courses includes 16 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM .
